Construction Laborers (MI) in Olathe

RLM Underground is looking for Construction Laborers to support restoration and site cleanup for underground telecom construction projects in Macomb, MI. This role is essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and professional job sites after utility installation, including backfilling, grading, seeding, and general landscape restoration. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire (W-2 employment) opportunity with full employee benefits. Some travel may be required. We will provide a daily per diem for travel requiring an overnight stay. Key Responsibilities Restore job sites following telecom construction, including grading, leveling, and reseeding disturbed areas. Perform backfill and compaction work around newly installed utilities. Install erosion control materials such as straw, matting, or silt fencing. Remove debris, excess dirt, and construction materials to maintain clean, safe work zones. Operate small equipment and hand tools (rakes, shovels, compactors, etc.). Follow all safety protocols, traffic control requirements, and company procedures. Communicate with supervisors and crews to ensure restoration meets project and customer standards.
