Masters Level Unlicensed Therapist - Community Action Team (Citrus)

Job Purpose:The MS Therapist (Unlicensed) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under supervision, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support mental health and well-being. This role involves collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality care and contribute to the development of treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.Key Responsibilities:Conduct intake assessments to determine client needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.Provide individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising therapist and other team members.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.Stay informed about current best practices and developments in the field of mental health therapy.Assist in crisis intervention and management as needed.Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.Required Education:Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.Required Experience:Experience in providing therapeutic services in a mental health setting.Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions.Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with varying mental health needs.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on current mental health trends and practices.LifeStream BenefitsHealth/Dental/Vision InsuranceShort Term DisabilityPension Plan403(b)PTO (Over 4 weeks your 1st year!)Flexible Work SchedulesTuition Reimbursement ProgramFree Telehealth ServicesHRSAAnd More!Important NoticeAs part of our hiring process and in compliance with Section 435.04, Florida Statutes, certain positions require a Level 2 background screening.
