Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid SLP license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, particularly high school populations
• Background working with low incidence disabilities preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and consultation services to high school students, primarily supporting those in low incidence programs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with school staff
• Offer guidance and support to staff and students on communication strategies and best practices
