Deployment Documentation Specialist - Contingent

We are seeking an experienced, on-site Deployment Documentation Specialist (based on contract award) in Hawaii to provide operational documentation and mission records support for Task 5 emergent operations activities under the ILS2 Task Order. In this role, you will support operational documentation activities, coordinate mission records management, and maintain operational files associated with regional crises, natural disasters, partner nation support operations, and national-level taskings. You will collaborate with government leadership, logistics, transportation, cyber, and communication teams to ensure all documentation remains synchronized and responsive to rapidly changing operational conditions.
- Operational Documentation: Provide comprehensive technical writing, editing, and document control support for Task 5 emergent operations and dynamic contingency missions.
- Mission Records Management: Coordinate, track, and maintain records and configuration documentation for regional crises, natural disasters, and national-level taskings.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface directly with Government leadership, mission partners, logistics networks, transportation personnel, cyber/communications staff, and emergency response teams.
- Operations Synchronization: Support documentation for emergent operational planning, operational mobility, deployable communications, mission systems sustainment, and recurring operational briefings.
- Knowledge Management: Ensure high responsiveness and accuracy in integrated contingency reporting to sustain operational readiness during dynamic, high-pressure environments.
- Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Experience: 3 to 10 years of professional experience supporting technical writing, editing, records management, document control, reporting, configuration documentation, and knowledge management activities.
- Education: Bachelor's (BA/BS) or Master's (MA/MS) degree.
- Education/Experience Equivalencies:
- High School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
- BA/BS Degree: 4-6 years of relevant experience
- MA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experience
- Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
- Competency: Journeyman personnel are expected to perform all functional duties independently.
- Preferred Credentials: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), records management certification, administrative professional, travel coordination, or equivalent business operations credentials.
- Compliance: This position supports TOR reference C.5.5.2 under the ILS2 Task Order.
