Job Title: RN - Ventilation Unit Profession: MCH RN Specialty: MCH : NUR : RN-RESP : Vent Unit Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 5 x 8.0 Experience: Minimum of Two (2) Years License: RN License (New York License ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: Telemetry Experience Required Vent Experience Required Description: This position involves providing care in a long-term care unit. The unit consists of a 25-bed capacity. It caters to a 20-bed adult population who are on ventilators, as well as 5 pediatric beds for both ventilator and non-ventilator dependent pediatric patients. Patients present with various medical and surgical diagnoses across different units. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must demonstrate positive communication skills. Flexibility and creativity are essential in this fast-paced setting. A commitment to teamwork is expected from all staff.
