Position Overview

Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in our outpatient facility located in Leesburg, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will work directly with patients to help them regain their mobility, restore their physical function, and ultimately improve their overall quality of life. Work Environment

Our outpatient office is designed to promote patient comfort and recovery, featuring well-equipped treatment rooms, open therapy spaces, and a friendly atmosphere. As an onsite therapist, you will engage with patients in one-on-one sessions throughout the day, allowing for personalized treatment planning and delivery. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, giving you a predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and mobility limitations through comprehensive evaluations, planning and implementing evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Engage with patients in developing individualized therapy goals and ensure progress through continuous evaluation and modification of care plans.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to improve patients' physical function and decrease discomfort.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly Web PT, to document patient care and monitor progress effectively, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey by educating them on their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to their tailored exercise and wellness programs.
• Foster an environment of teamwork by collaborating with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness experts, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Conduct educational workshops on injury prevention and healthy living, thereby empowering patients with knowledge for long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a varied patient demographic ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries. This role requires a strong foundation in orthopedic care, enabling you to address distinct needs, such as joint pain, post-surgical recovery, and mobility issues, while utilizing a compassionate approach throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation and effective patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest evidence-based physical therapy practices and modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in treating orthopedic patients in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in a sports medicine environment.
• Demonstrated ability to create individualized therapeutic exercise programs and effectively track patient progress.
• Familiarity with current trends in patient rehabilitation and a commitment to continuous professional development in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
