Position Overview

Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist to join our team. This role is critical in assisting our patients in their journey to reclaim mobility and enhance function, focusing on achieving their highest potential in daily activities. Working within an outpatient orthopedic setting, you will be integral to our therapy delivery, helping to maximize quality of life through evidenced-based treatment approaches.

Located in the picturesque town of Round Hill, Virginia, Masuda Movement Rehab & Wellness Center specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art 5000 square feet facility is designed to provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services and features advanced sports medicine equipment. We take pride in creating a supportive and collaborative environment, accommodating primarily patients with private medical insurance, which enables a tailored approach to each patient's unique recovery needs.

Work Environment

The work environment is an onsite rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The center is designed to foster a productive therapeutic ambiance, equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities, ensuring an optimal experience for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs through thorough evaluations, identifying their specific goals and treatment requirements.
• Deliver one-on-one patient care with an emphasis on managing a caseload of 1 patient per hour, ensuring high-quality and focused treatments.
• Utilize diverse treatment modalities and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Encourage a proactive approach to recovery by motivating patients and promoting engagement in their personalized therapy programs.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, adhering to best practices in clinical record-keeping.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate seamless rehabilitation experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily includes individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic issues. This may encompass post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients navigate their rehabilitation journeys, empowering them to overcome physical limitations and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Round Hill, VA, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in developing and conducting tailored exercise regimens, demonstrating expertise in promoting patient engagement and adherence.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow management.
• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, with a proven track record of effective treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
