Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $70-85k Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0

Job Summary

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports residential construction projects by identifying qualified suppliers, researching material and vendor options, and assisting with procurement and project coordination activities. This role works closely with builders, contractors, developers, architects, and suppliers to help ensure projects have the resources needed for successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and qualify suppliers and vendors for construction projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct supplier outreach and gather pricing, availability, and product information.
• Assist with sourcing, purchasing, and procurement activities.
• Maintain supplier records, project documentation, and sourcing databases.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and suppliers.
• Track project progress and support reporting needs.
• Stay informed on industry trends, material availability, and market conditions.
• Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, purchasing, procurement, estimating, project coordination, or a related field.
• Knowledge of residential building materials and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vendor management, sourcing, or purchasing.
• Background working for a home builder, contractor, supplier, or construction-related company.
