Business Unit Manager- Food Testing- Louisville, KY
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a hands-on Business Unit Manager to lead its food testing laboratory in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on operational excellence, P&L ownership, team leadership of ~40 employees, and driving cultural transformation within a regulated testing environment.
Responsibilities
- Own Business Unit P&L, driving performance, efficiency, and profitability metrics
- Lead daily laboratory operations ensuring quality delivery and customer turnaround times
- Drive cultural transformation toward proactive, accountable, and performance-driven operations
- Develop ~40-person team through visible, hands-on leadership and accountability
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency opportunities across the site
Requirements
- Operational leadership experience (Site Manager, Operations Manager, or Business Unit Manager level)
- Proven P&L responsibility and financial management in regulated industries
- Background in food production, laboratory, life sciences, or pharmaceutical environments
- Experience leading teams of 30–50+ employees with accountability focus
- Demonstrated change management or turnaround experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business
- Strong understanding of KPIs, process improvement, and operational efficiency
