Sponsored Projects Officer I or II

The Seattle Children's Research Division is looking for a Sponsored Projects Officer I or II.

Note: This is primarily a remote position open to the following states: WA, AK, MT, GA, & FL. The pay range shown is for Washington and Alaska only.

Sponsored Projects Officer II:

Responsible for providing grant management and administrative/fiscal support to Principal Investigators who are recipients of research grants, sub awards and internally funded projects; review and negotiate all awards providing funding or other support for research, ensuring they are wholly consistent with the requirements of Children's policy, relevant sponsor policies, and all applicable state and federal laws. Review sub recipient applications and prime awards to Children's, drafting and negotiating sub recipient agreements in compliance with all applicable policies and regulations; oversee all required sub recipient monitoring associated with Children's obligations as a flow-through entity under OMB Circular A-133. Serve as the single point of contact between Seattle Children's Research Institute, its sponsors and sub-recipients, ensuring that all administrative requirements associated with the submission of applications, acceptance and conduct of awards, and issuance and monitoring of sub-awards are met.

Sponsored Projects Officer I:

Serve as a single point of contact between Seattle Children's Research Institute, its sponsors and sub-recipients, ensuring that all administrative requirements associated with the submission of applications, acceptance and conduct of awards, and issuance and monitoring of sub-awards are met.

Sponsored Projects Officer II:

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of two (2) years pre-award experience within the grants and contracts arena.

Required Credentials
N/A.

Preferred
Certified Research Administrator.
Experience with pre- and post-award activities for research grants and contracts, National Institute of Health and/or federal grants.

Sponsored Projects Officer I:

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare or related field.
Minimum of one (1) years of contracting/business/administrative experience.

Required Credentials
N/A.

Preferred
Experience with pre- and post-award activities for research grants and contracts.

Level one salary range: $66,707 - $100,061

Compensation Range

$66,707.00 - $121,073.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
