Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid New York state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric settings
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents for best student outcomes
• Comfortable managing and prioritizing caseloads in an educational environment
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP/504 plans
• Consult regularly with teachers and educational staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for student support plans
• Educate families and staff on physical therapy strategies and accommodations
