Job Description
Physical Therapist – School Based
Location: Tarrytown, NY Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person Start Date: April (Leave Replacement) Additional Opportunity: Summer School (Location TBD)
FOX Staffing Network is partnering with a school program in the Tarrytown, NY area seeking a Physical Therapist to support elementary-age students on the spectrum.
This role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment helping students develop the mobility, coordination, and functional skills needed to succeed in the classroom and daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to elementary students on the autism spectrum
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Support students in improving motor development, mobility, balance, and functional movement
- Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other support staff
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of students with developmental and sensory challenges
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and IEP requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development

Qualifications
- New York State Physical Therapist License required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Experience supporting students with autism spectrum or developmental needs is a plus
