Project Manager

Award winning general contractor is actively looking to add a project manager to their team as they grow their Madison office. In this role you will running a diverse portfolio of large-scale multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects; all while playing a key role in building out this company's Dane County presence. Client Overview: Revenue: Over $1Billion across the entire business, $100M/yr+ in Wisconsin Project Types: All vertical construction sectors outside of single-family residential Project Size: Wide range from $1-$50million Culture: Sharp professionals in a family-feel environment Project Delivery: Currently operate as construction manager with plan to integrate self-perform trades Leadership: Comes from top Wisconsin general contractors Description Lead all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved. Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet critical milestones. Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, and cost forecasting to maximize financial performance. Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance, and compliance with contract requirements and project specifications. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards through regular site inspections and risk management. Serve as the primary liaison with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders, providing clear project updates and resolving issues proactively. Review construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure accurate execution and timely project delivery. Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
