Grapple Knuckleboom Operator

Equipment Operator We’re looking for an Equipment Operator for a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Operating a Grapple/Knuckleboom Truck in a safe and effective manner to minimize risk. Performing daily safety and maintenance checks. Cleaning heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. Ensuring heavy equipment is safely and securely stored. Advising Foreman of any maintenance or repair requirements. Participating in routine maintenance. Practicing workplace safety. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in equipment operating and maintenance. Valid FL driver’s license, CDL Class A. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. Valid DOT medical certificate or ability to pass DOT physical exam. Preferred Experience and Skills Experience working near direct automotive traffic. Experience working near natural bodies of water. Ability to work 8+ hours/day with breaks, 5 days/week; some overtime/weekend required. Ability to work in extreme conditions, temperatures up to 100°F. Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.).
