Regional Director of Operations

Director of People & Hotel Operations Why Work With Us We are a growing hospitality company building a portfolio of boutique hotels in high-demand destination markets. We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in dynamic environments, leads from the front, and enjoys building structure, accountability, and high-performing teams across multiple properties. Ability to communicate with Spanish speaking associates is a must. What We're Looking For You are a proactive operational leader who can quickly identify challenges, improve processes, and drive accountability while building strong team culture. You know how to:
- Lead hotel operations teams with confidence and urgency
- Create structure and consistency in fast-paced environments
- Manage multiple priorities while staying detail-oriented
- Solve problems quickly and lead through execution
- Build systems, SOPs, and scalable operational processes
- Oversee hotel teams across multiple properties
- Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
- Establish KPIs, accountability, and operational expectations
- Foster a culture of professionalism and ownership
- Conduct regular property visits to ensure operational excellence
- Maintain guest-ready standards across all hotels
- Identify operational gaps and drive immediate resolution
- Implement operational procedures and service standards
- Develop SOPs, onboarding programs, and training materials
- Support acquisitions and onboarding of new properties
- Build scalable systems to support company growth
- Strengthen employee engagement and communication
- Manage vendor approvals and Bill.com processes
- Oversee operational compliance, reporting, taxes, and vendor coordination
- Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures
- 5+ years of hotel operations or multi-property hospitality leadership experience
- Strong background leading on-site hospitality teams
- Experience building systems, SOPs, and operational processes
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Strong communication and accountability management skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, startup-style environments
- Experience with hotel acquisitions, transitions, or new openings preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly between properties
- True ownership and autonomy
- Compensation: $100,000 base + performance-based bonuses, with total earning potential of $200,000+
