Primex Plastics Corporation is one of the largest custom extruded plastic sheet producers in the country, with eight manufacturing facilities from coast to coast. We manufacture a broad range of plastic sheets for a wide variety of industries. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Headquarters in Richmond, IN. This is a full-time, on-site day shift position in Richmond that handles an extremely high‑volume accounts payable workflow for multiple sites, processing a very large number of invoices each day with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Performing accounts payable processing for multiple plant locations Assisting with monthly and yearly reporting Printing, matching and disbursing AP checks weekly General office administration – answering telephones, directing calls, filing, etc. Reconciling accounts, analyzing invoices, researching and correcting discrepancies Providing support during month‑end closing Daily billing Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required A minimum of 2 years of AP experience, including invoice processing (high‑volume, multi‑entity) and Payment Runs (ACH, Check, Wire) Experience with high‑volume purchase order 3‑way match Financial Software experience. Microsoft D365 is a plus Ability to analyze invoices and reconcile accounts Ability to work with remote/off‑site locations Ability to excel both in a team environment and independently Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Benefits Primex offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary.
