About The Role

As a Housekeeper in our Housekeeping department, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents, guests, and staff. This hourly, full-time position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and can consistently follow cleaning standards and procedures. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure all assigned areas meet our organization’s quality, health, and safety expectations. This role may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, depending on business needs.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned spaces according to established standards and checklists
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities as needed
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces to maintain a neat and orderly appearance
• Handle trash and recyclables, including collecting, bagging, and properly disposing of waste
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in storage and service areas
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to equipment and property to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment
• Use housekeeping equipment (vacuums, carts, cleaning tools) safely and keep them clean and in good working condition
• Adhere to daily room assignment sheets and time expectations to complete tasks efficiently
• Respect guest and resident privacy and property, following all confidentiality and security procedures
• Respond courteously and promptly to reasonable guest or resident requests for additional items or services
• Collaborate with other housekeeping and department staff to ensure smooth operations and consistent service quality
• Participate in required training sessions, staff meetings, and performance reviews as requested by management

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not always required; training will be provided
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items throughout the shift (often up to 25–40 lbs)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Respectful, professional attitude when interacting with guests, residents, visitors, and coworkers
• Basic understanding of safe handling and storage of cleaning products and equipment (or willingness to learn)
• Eligibility to work in the country of employment and ability to pass any required background or reference checks

The Pay Range For This Role Is

15 - 15 USD per hour(Hilton Garden Inn Billings)
