Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
• Implement behavioral interventions and monitor client progress through data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring all necessary information is gathered effectively.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in behavioral health and special education.

Qualifications

• Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment strategies.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A compassionate approach towards patient care and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
