As a Security Officer Access Control in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and help deter incidents through a professional presence. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, including verification of identification, authorization, and permitted items.
• Monitor entry and exit points, package and shipment handling areas, and screening equipment to help identify unauthorized access, prohibited items, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
