Travel CST First Assist – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assist duties in the operating room under the direction of the surgical team
• Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures within an acute-care hospital setting
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Support pre-operative and post-operative care processes as required by the OR team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical staff to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification or equivalent First Assist qualification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated experience in an operating room environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or OR setting
• Experience in a large acute-care or multi-specialty hospital environment
