Come join an amazing team.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Auto Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:50am to 05:00pm)Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles and automotive systems.Perform routine services including oil changes, brakes, suspension, electrical, and general repairs.Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following proper shop procedures.Compensation is commission-based, offering earning potential based on productivity and completed work.Auto Technician Qualifications:Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred.Must have your own professional automotive tools necessary to perform general repairs.Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete quality repairs.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred; ASE certification is a plus but not required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkApplicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
