Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

A high-performing healthcare facility in Petoskey, MI is seeking an experienced NP or PA for locum coverage in Cardiothoracic Surgery through July 6, 2025 . This is a hospital-based inpatient role with first-call responsibilities and a strong preference for local Michigan providers .

This is a great opportunity for an independent, experienced APP looking to step into a focused, short-term inpatient role with a collaborative surgical team.

• Location: Petoskey, Michigan
  

• Schedule:

  • In-hospital from 6:00 6:30 AM until daily work is completed (typically around 3:00 PM)

  • On-call after-hours until next shift

  • 24/7 first call responsibilities during assignment

• Setting: Inpatient only no clinic

• Duties:

  • Hospital rounding (including ICU)

  • OR assistance (including vein harvesting)

  • First call coverage during off-hours
    

• Active Michigan License Required

• Board Certified NP or PA Required

• Vein Harvesting Experience Required

• COVID-19 Vaccination Required

• Clean background Required

• DEA Must confirm at name clear
