Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job TitleWorking at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.Inspect, diagnose, and proactively address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failures.Maintain and document maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment history.Service equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipment.Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and recommend corrective actions.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standards.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1+ year of industrial or preventive maintenance experience.Working knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V).Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies (lubrication, inspections, condition monitoring).Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow systematic problem-solving methods.Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Preferred / Additional SkillsExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Familiarity with PLCs or automated production equipment.Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, thermal, etc.).Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
