Home Equity Loan ProcessorLocation: Troy, MISchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PMEmployment Type: Contract through the end of the year, with potential for extension or conversionWork Setting: OnsiteJob DescriptionWe are looking for experienced Home Equity Loan Processors to join a growing lending team. This position will handle full-cycle home equity processing, working directly with members and internal teams to move loans efficiently from processing through closing.ResponsibilitiesProcess home equity loans from start to finishManage approximately 25-30 active files once fully trainedReview income documentation, including pay stubsOrder appraisals and flood certifications as neededGather payoff information and required documentationReview mortgagee clausesPrepare files for underwriting and closingCoordinate and arrange loan closingsCommunicate with members throughout the loan processCollaborate with the team to manage overall pipeline volumeQualificationsMust Have1-2+ years of full-cycle mortgage or home equity processing experienceStrong understanding of the loan processing lifecycleStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable with frequent member/customer interactionWillingness to learn and work within a hands-on, manual processing environmentTeam-oriented mindset and willingness to help with shared pipeline needsAbility to work onsite in Clinton TownshipAbility to commit through the full contract periodNice to HaveHome equity processing experienceDirect or indirect lending experienceCredit union or banking experienceExperience with Symitar or EncompassWhy This Opportunity?Potential for contract extension or permanent conversionStrong, team-oriented cultureOpportunities for growth and advancementOrganization that promotes from withinModern, recently renovated office environmentOnsite cafeteria and break roomBusiness casual work environmentWork EnvironmentThis position is part of a collaborative lending team in a professional office environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
