As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician to join our production team at our manufacturing warehouse.
Position Overview:
The Fiberglass Technician will play a key role in the construction of our marine-grade water cars. This position involves hands-on fiberglass application, repair, and finishing work using advanced composite techniques. Candidates with experience in marine fiberglass, boatbuilding, or composite automotive work are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiberglass layup using marine-grade materials and resins
- Execute hand layup, vacuum bagging, and other composite techniques
- Trim, cut, and finish fiberglass components to meet design specifications
- Repair and reinforce fiberglass structures used in water car and marine applications
- Work from molds, drawings, and manufacturing guidelines
- Maintain strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ensure compliance with workplace and marine safety practices
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
Qualifications:
- Previous fiberglass experience in marine, boatbuilding, automotive, or composite manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of fiberglass materials, resins, gel coat, and application methods
- Skilled with hand and power tools commonly used in marine composite work
- Ability to follow technical drawings, molds, and production specifications
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move materials
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work full-time on-site in Jensen Beach
