Job Description:

The RN in the PCU unit is responsible for providing care to a diverse adult-geriatric population with various conditions including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and more. The role requires floating within Zone 1 as assigned and includes shifts throughout several facilities as dictated by scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in various PCU/IMC units covering different specialties.
• Titrate and manage medications such as cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan.
• Ensure flexibility in scheduling and fill gaps as needed.
• Participate in the holiday rotation and weekend shifts as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Comfortable with cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin.
• Preferred experience with neuro patients and Epic charting system.
