Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors equipped with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirement as a non-negotiable condition of the assignment
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November) as directed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license; license must be active and in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Ability to work every other weekend as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a community hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
