Punch Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate punch press machines to produce metal parts Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to determine production requirements Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, speed, and depth of cut Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety protocols and procedures Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience operating punch press machines Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders Experience with setting up and adjusting tooling and dies Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
