What Our Veterinary Technicians Do Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and dental procedures Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures Collect and process laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs Provide compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients Educate clients on medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation Anticipate the needs of the veterinary team to promote efficiency and exceptional patient care Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas while following hospital safety protocols
