Retail Sales Associate

Overview We are looking for Team Members to join our Retail Sales and Customer Service team at EZCORP located at 315 S. Pine Ave, Ocala, Florida. The role starts with a paid 5‑week training program and offers a clear career path through promotion to Pawnbroker, Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Manager), and Store Manager in Training. Competitive pay starts at $15–$16 per hour and increases with experience and performance. Responsibilities Provide friendly, courteous, and respectful service to customers in person and by phone. Process sales, loans, and extensions efficiently and accurately. Perform opening and closing store duties. Maintain a well‑organized and welcoming retail environment. Build strong customer relationships and seek mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Prior customer service, cashier, or retail experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong multitasking abilities. Must pass a criminal background check and drug test. Familiarity with commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus. Sales background and bilingual proficiency are additional advantages.
