Job Description
Speech Pathologist
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an Ohio Department of Education Professional License and a License from the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board.
- Experience and proficiency with computer applications including software to create special education documentation and student information databases such as DASL.
- Experience with keeping compliant therapy notes and submitting billing for the Ohio School Medicaid Program.
- Experience conducting and authoring reports for multi-factored evaluations and speech and language evaluations as well as individual educational plans in accordance with IDEA Guidelines.
- Experience screening, providing intervention to and conducting therapy with pre-school and school age students.
- Demonstrate positive and effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with parents, students and staff members.
- Must have a clean and current BCI/FBI background check.
