Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Welder to weld production and prototype instrumentation components using various welding processes, including TIG and/or MIG. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of materials, including stainless steel and precious or semi-precious metals.

Responsibilities

• Weld production and prototype instrumentation piece parts using TIG, MIG, and other applicable welding processes.
• Work with various materials, including stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals.
• Set up fixtures and lay out work for production and prototype components.
• Operate programmed welding machines for production units.
• Assist machine welding operators with higher-volume production as needed.
• Ensure welds meet destructive and non-destructive testing requirements based on product certifications.
• Maintain individual welding qualifications and certifications according to product requirements.
• Perform miscellaneous welding and production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with TIG and/or MIG welding.
• Ability to work with stainless steel and various types of metals.
• Ability to read and follow welding specifications and production requirements.
• Must be able to maintain required welding qualifications and certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
