divh2Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg St. Francis Medical Center/h2pThe Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:/pulliUtilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status/liliProviding care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses/liliImplementing clinical nursing interventions/liliHaving a highly diverse medical skillset/liliDeveloping and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes/liliEnsuring a safe and therapeutic environment/li/ulpEssential Functions:/pulliCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team/liliCollect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition/liliEvaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes/liliAdminister medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Mercy Health policies and procedures/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpEducation:/pulliBachelors degree in nursing (preferred)/li/ulpWork Experience:/pulliOne year of RN experience (required)/liliSix months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)/li/ulpRequired Licensing Certifications:/pulliCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliBLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support acceptable in lieu of BLS)/li/ulpBon Secours is an equal opportunity employer./ppAs a Bon Secours associate, youre part of a Mission that matters.
