Surgical Scrub Tech | Oregon City, Oregon

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced ORT or Certified Surgical Technologist seeking a contract role in a dynamic surgical environment. This 13-week assignment will leverage your expertise to support a multidisciplinary operating room team in providing top-quality patient care.


Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 6:45am-5:15pm
• Specific days will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification is required
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or Nursing - ORT
• Surgical Tech certification is essential
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and safety procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and procedure needs in fast-paced settings
• Effective communication skills and strong teamwork orientation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and assist with surgical procedures, ensuring supplies and instruments are sterile and organized
• Serve as a vital member of the surgical team, anticipating needs and supporting surgical staff throughout each case
• Safely operate and handle surgical instruments and equipment
• Monitor all safety protocols and infection control standards rigorously
• Accurately account for instruments, sponges, and supplies throughout surgical procedures
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to promote a smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes
