Senior Operations Research Analyst - Dayton, OHThis Senior Operations Research Analyst with MTSI will support the DAF PAE C3BM Battle Network. This position requires active collaboration across multiple organizations and lines of effort. This position will be located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and MTSI’s Beavercreek, Ohio location. This position is for 100% in-person attendance at Wright-Patterson AFB and/or MTSI’s Beavercreek, OH location, no options for remote work.Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Lead engagements with government agencies, industry partners, and coalition entities under government program directionLeverage modeling, simulation, and analysis environments to support decision-making for strategy, operations, and technology developmentConduct research and analysis to identify future weapons concepts, capability gaps, and potential improvementsAssess the acquisition, rapid prototyping, and engineering considerations for electromagnetic battle management systems, including modification of legacy systemsPerform operational analysis, supporting feasibility and applicability studies for military mission areas and DoD acquisition programsCommunicate and interface with intelligence community organizations to identify threats to U.S. multi-domain kill websPromote opportunities for applying next-generation technology to expand mission capabilitiesEvaluate engineering inputs to capability development strategies and system architecturesCreate analytic trade spaces to identify capability gaps and technical solutions, ensuring accuracy regarding Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)Assist in strategic planning and prioritization of M&S investments, requirements development, and objectives for research activitiesPrepare briefings, narratives, and analysis products to support program managers and stakeholders, presenting technical material clearly to senior decision-makersQualifications5+ years of relevant work experience in operations analysis, evaluating complex military scenarios, and supporting cross-functional teams across an enterpriseAt least 3 years’ experience working on classified and special access programsComprehensive understanding of multi-domain systems, survivability and lethality assessments, weapon systems, and DoD acquisition processesFamiliarity with intelligence assessments and mission designFamiliarity with statistical methods for data analysis, problem identification, and solution developmentStrong documentation skills for capability gaps, requirements analysis, and technology development insightsAbility to collaborate with program teams, engineers, scientists, and external organizationsStrong analytical acumen and ability to work independently or within a teamMust have a high level of motivation, be adept at exploring and learning about new technologies, and have a demonstrated record of successfully taking ownership and responsibility for projectsMust have the ability to multi-task, respond to quick turn-around requests, and produce quality products with minimal oversightPossess exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendationsDemonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environmentAbility to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groupsStrong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsEducation RequirementsMaster’s degree in operations research, engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or another related field requiredExperience may be considered in substitution for educationDesired RequirementsOperational experience with USAF, USSF, USA, USN, or USMC electronic warfare and/or electromagnetic battle management systemsExperience with/or knowledge of technical intelligence, radars, and electronic warfare systemsExperience with technologies related to air/space vehicle systems, systems integration, advanced testing, and innovative solutions developmentFamiliarity with intelligence community operations and technology planning assessmentsTravel· Up to 20% travel is expected for technical exchange meetings and interfaces.Clearance Requirements· Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI and SAR eligibility· U.S. Citizenship is required for this position#LI-HP1TS/SCIPerks and BenefitsVacation:New Hires Accrue 20 days of PTO and 10 Holidays per YearHealth Insurance:Zero Deductible Health PlansFlexible Schedules:Flex SchedulesProfessional Development:Up to $10,000 Annual Education/Training ReimbursementESOP:Funded Stock Ownership Plan401k Match+:6% 401k Match + Immediate VestingBonus Program:Semi-Annual Bonus OpportunityMentorship:Career Mentorship ProgramsWhy is MTSI a great place to workInteresting Work:Our co-workers support some of the most important and critical programs to our national defense and security.Values:Our first core value is that employees come first.
