Qualifications & Desired Experience Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Current certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist Experience in K-12 educational settings is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development Ability to fulfill time‑sensitive credentialing requirements, including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review as mandated by House Bill 486 Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and support plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services to students Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for special education eligibility, behavioral assessments, and individualized education programs (IEPs) Offer consultation on mental health, behavior management, and learning strategies to school staff Participate in school‑wide initiatives to create safe, positive, and healthy learning environments Compensation & Benefits Compensation for this position ranges from $37.02 to $67.02 per hour.
