English and History Teacher

Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process. What You'll Do: Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time. Differentiate and personalize academic instruction and support social and emotional development in students ranging from 4th - 12th grades. Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture. Keep student records accurate and organized. Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus. Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided. Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges. Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning. Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment. Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed. Florida residents require level 2 background screening through Why Fusion?
