Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• A Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
