Compensation

• $55,000–$75,000 annually ($26–$36/hour), depending on experience.
• Senior candidates: $70,000–$90,000.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities.

About the Role

The Santos Law Firm, PLLC is seeking an experienced, bilingual Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager to manage personal injury claims from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for someone who can independently move cases through treatment, records collection, demand preparation, negotiation, and settlement while delivering exceptional client service.

We are looking for a proactive, organized professional who understands the Texas PI pre-litigation process, communicates effectively with clients and adjusters, and keeps files moving without constant supervision.

What You’ll Do

• Manage personal injury cases from sign-up through settlement or litigation referral.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide meaningful case updates.
• Coordinate and monitor medical treatment, provider referrals, imaging, injections, surgeries, and discharge status.
• Identify treatment gaps and proactively address stale or inactive files.
• Request, track, review, and analyze medical records and billing records.
• Verify insurance coverage, claim information, policy limits, PIP, MedPay, UM/UIM, and adjuster details.
• Prepare demand packages, liability summaries, damages analyses, and supporting documentation.
• Negotiate bodily injury and property damage claims with insurance adjusters.
• Document all settlement negotiations, counteroffers, and case activity in the case management system.
• Identify and escalate liability, causation, damages, coverage, and statute of limitations issues for attorney review.
• Assist attorneys with case valuation, settlement strategy, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Coordinate litigation handoff when cases require escalation.
• Assist with settlement disbursements, lien verification, and lien resolution.
• Maintain accurate, organized case notes and records.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury case management experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of Texas personal injury pre-litigation procedures and deadlines from treatment through disbursement.
• Litigation experience is a plus.
• Experience handling motor vehicle accident claims.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional client service and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, organization, and documentation skills.
• Experience reviewing medical records and identifying key treatment milestones and damages.
• Proficiency with case management software such as MyCase, Filevine, CASEpeer, Litify, Needles, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Spanish speaking required.
