Service Writer / Automotive Advisor
Location: On-site (Office)
Schedule: Full-Time | 8-Hour Workdays (No endless overtime)
Experience Level: Experienced Professional (5+ Years)

At Steve’s Automotive Services, we pride ourselves on accurate diagnostics, honest quotes, and top-tier customer care. We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Service Writer who brings real mechanical know-how to the front office. If you know cars inside and out and excel at bridging the gap between technicians and customers, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose & Advise: Translate vehicle issues and diagnostic results into clear, accurate repair recommendations.
- Build Estimates: Prepare fast, detailed, and transparent repair estimates that earn client trust.
- Manage Workflow: Serve as the central point of contact between our mechanics in the bay and our clients in the lobby.
- Deliver Great Service: Ensure every customer leaves informed, confident, and satisfied with their service.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry Experience: 5 years is preferred , but if you have less experience paired with solid automotive diagnostic knowledge and estimate-writing skills, we want to hear from you!
- Hands-On Mechanical Foundation: You don't just clear codes—you actually understand how engines and automotive systems work under the hood.
- Software Savvy: Familiarity with RO Writer is a huge plus! (If you haven't used it, no worries—we'll fully train you.)
- Strong Communication: Clear, professional, and approachable demeanor with customers and technicians alike.
