Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 45‑day assignment with our client in Alabama, starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 24‑hour shifts with rounding and offsite call, focusing on inpatient pediatric rounding, ED consults, and newborn couplet care with NNP support. Responsibilities and Duties Rounding on an inpatient pediatric floor Performing ED consults Providing newborn couplet care with NNP support Participating in out‑of‑house call from home Collaborating with on‑site pediatric pulmonology, endocrinology, and cardiology subspecialists Consulting with pediatric orthopedics and adult surgery teams Accessing UAB subspecialists for consultations Additional Information Board Certification in Pediatrics required Benefits Strong compensation Travel‑related expenses covered A‑rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Barton Associates
