Position: HR Admin
Pay: $21.00/hr
Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri
Location: Joliet, IL
- Create and post all internal job openings and set up job files
- Review internal candidates from job postings and advise managers of interested candidates
- Handle pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Conduct reference checks on new hires
- Monitor completion of new hire paperwork
- Maintain logs for new hires, terminations, transfers, and demotions
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Audit payroll and resolve payroll issues
- Sort and distribute checks
- Assist with HR-related issues and attendance tracking
- HS Diploma or GED
- PHR Certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years administrative office experience required
- Previous HR experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- HR fundamentals
- Administrative procedures
- Recruitment and onboarding processes
- Compliance and record keeping
- Payroll auditing
