Field Application EngineerAnnapolis Micro Systems is seeking multiple Field Application Engineers to conceive, design, develop and test a wide range of applications leveraging our patented CoreFire FPGA Design Suite and targeting our industry-leading COTS FPGA computing products.Your responsibilities will often span from application conception through application deployment, including working with the sales team to win programs, working with customers to enumerate and understand requirements, architecting a robust system based on requirements, designing and implementing customer algorithms using our CoreFire FPGA Design Suite and C/Java/Matlab, testing implementations and systems using COTS FPGA computing products, and aiding with the integration of deployed systems. Master's preferredIn-depth knowledge of DSP, data acquisition, or computational intensive applications3-5 years' applications engineering experience in relevant fieldMatLab and/or other simulation tools experienceStrong programming skills with C/C++ required and Java optionalKnowledge of Xilinx and Intel FPGAs, EDA design tools, and architecturesSystem integration experience in VPX, VME, PCIHands-on system experience with Windows, Linux, VxWorksExperience dealing with large government integrators, contractors, agencies, and labsU.S. citizenshipClearance (any level) a plusIn compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $100,000/yr to $200,000/yr; however, Annapolis Micro Systems considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
