Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Job Title

2nd Shift (3p-11:30p), Monday through Friday and occasional scheduled holidays. We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include:

• Decontamination of all items (drills, davinci, scopes)
• Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
• Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
• HLD/scope experience
• Sterile storage
• OR liaison experience
• Censitrac tracking system experience
• CRCST or CSPDT required

Experience preferred: core tech, customer service, or liaison. OSU is a level one trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires experienced travelers who have worked in a facility similar to OSU. Aya SPT candidate eligibility restrictions:

• Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible for return anywhere in the system.
• Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.
• Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible. Current contractors who are already within the 50-mile radius may complete their existing contract and extend up to the one-year maximum contract limit.
