Join our Maintenance Dept - Hereford Facility

There are a variety of roles within this title such as Mechanics of different skill levels for the maintenance technician which may include hydraulics, electronics, and welding. Maintenance technicians responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining and ensuring that the facility and its' equipment are running efficiently.

While performing the duties the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. The employee must work with chemicals and solvents and have the ability to operate moving vehicles. Positions require standing or walking the entire shift, work in confined spaces, work in elevated platforms, the use of stairs and ladders, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility. (Not an all-inclusive list)

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHT AND WEEKENDS.

Responsibilities

• May operate heavy machinery
• Use a variety of tools in order to repair, retrieve and maintain all equipment in working order
• Conduct daily set-up of area and troubleshoot
• Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
• Ensuring safety, food safety, and quality
• Cleanliness and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Communication skills - read and write
• Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
• Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT
• Valid Driver's License required
• Previous experience preferred - willing to train right candidate
