CTE Project Manager - Early CollegeThe Early College CTE Project Manager, within the Department of College and Career Readiness, advances Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, College and Career Pathway Endorsement (CCPE) alignment, and early college opportunities across the district. The role ensures that dual credit is administered in accordance with guidelines established by the Illinois Community College Board and the Higher Learning Commission. The Project Manager collaborates with secondary partners, ICC departments, Education for Employment (EFE) systems, and other stakeholders to enhance pathway development, support dual credit alignment, expand work-based learning experiences, internship opportunities, and promote the successful transition of students into ICC's CTE programs.This is a grant funded position through the Perkins Leadership Grant and Take Back the Trades Grant that run from January 2026 through June 2027.Compensation for the Early College CTE Project Manager is $58,000 - $67,000 annually.Essential FunctionsCTE Pathway & CCPE Coordination.Lead and manage the development, alignment, and continuous improvement of CTE and CCPE pathways with secondary partners, EFEs, and ICC academic departments.Oversee cross-sector collaboration to align secondary pathways with ICC Programs of Study.Establish, maintain, and document CCPE implementation resources, processes, and currency practices.Serve as a primary liaison among secondary partners, faculty, deans, and student services to support pathway implementation.Plan and facilitate, in collaboration with subject-matter experts, professional development and training for secondary and ICC partners on CCPE requirements, pathway alignment, dual credit expectations, and early college transitions.Develop and distribute standardized CCPE tools, templates, and implementation materials to promote consistent practices across partner schools.Manage communication strategies related to CTE, CCPE, dual credit, and work-based learning opportunities.Collaborate with counselors, coordinators, and the Early College team to identify eligible students, monitor progress, and address barriers to completion.Plan and manage pathway-related events, including orientations, program tours, career exploration activities, and recognition events.Partner with EFEs, ICC departments, Career Services, and employers to support work-based learning and career development experiences aligned to CTE pathways.Ensure all CTE, CCPE, and dual credit activities comply with ICCB, HLC, Dual Credit Quality Act, and institutional policies.Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting related to pathway participation, outcomes, and continuous improvement.Maintain oversight of grant-related documentation, timelines, and performance metrics associated with CTE and CCPE initiatives.Collaborate with CCR and Academic Affairs leadership to align pathway initiatives with institutional goals and strategic priorities.Participate in institutional committees, professional development, and related duties while ensuring FERPA-compliant practices.Manage a part-time High School liaison.Perform related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree with minimum of 1-year CTE industry experience or Associate's Degree with 3-years of CTE industry experience.Minimum of 3 years of coordination or administrative experience.Minimum of 3 years of project management, or related experience in a secondary educational, postsecondary educational or workforce development setting.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, databases and other related software.Ability to maintain and keep confidential information.Strong verbal/written communication skills with strong presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, career and technical education, workforce development, or a related field.Experience with grants and grant administration – including monitoring performance metrics and budgetary reconciliation.Experience with enrollment processes, dual credit procedures, or student onboarding within a secondary and/or postsecondary setting.Experience working with high school students, school personnel, or community college students in a support, advising, or coordination role.Experience with student information systems such as Peoplesoft or Workday, School Links, Skyward pathway management systems, or platforms supporting CTE and/or CCPE implementation.Knowledge of ICCB, HLC, Dual Credit Quality Act, or state-level PACE requirements related to dual credit, CTE pathways, and/or CCPE frameworks.Illinois Central College offers a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees, including:paid time off;11 paid holidays; 2 floating holidaysmedical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance;tuition waivers for employee, spouse and dependent children;on-site childcare center;403(b) retirement plans; andState University Retirement System pension plan.To learn more about full-time health care benefits at ICC.
