Role Description

Build secure APIs, scalable data pipelines, and cloud-native services that enable real-time insights, improve interoperability, and enhance mission readiness.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering (backend, API, or full-stack)
Proficient in Python, Java, or C#
Experienced with REST APIs (FastAPI, AWS Lambda) and OpenAPI specifications
Skilled in data pipeline orchestration (dbt, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Iceberg)
Knowledgeable in federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, HIPAA, FISMA High)

Requirements

Prior work with DHA, VA, or federal healthcare IT programs (preferred)
Experience with FHIR, OMOP, HL7, CDA, or other healthcare data standards (preferred)
Familiarity with OCR, NLP, AI/ML workflows for healthcare data (preferred)
Exposure to AWS GovCloud (IL5/IL6) or secure cloud environments (preferred)
Experience in MOSA frameworks or DDIL environments (preferred)
