Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and leadership in patient care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Supervise assigned personnel and prioritize patient care tasks.
• Adapt to variable patient ratios, floating as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Current and valid ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Experience providing nursing care in antepartum triage and active labor.
• Knowledge of LDRP nursing care for postpartum and nursery patients.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as MedHost and GE Centricity.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
