Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located in Naperville, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour night shift, 7 p.m. 7 a.m.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of core staff experience; L3 or L4 level preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse Certification (RNC) preferred.
• Experience Requirements: Require 2+ years of core staff experience, with proficiency in caring for critical neonatal patients, including providing vents and RAM C-PAP. Experience in high-flow lines, 1:1 critical care, 1:2 grower/feeders, or 1:3-4 for more stable neonatal care is preferred.
• Additional Information: The environment is very fast-paced, with an average of 5 admissions per shift. Assignments may change during shifts. Orientation consists of 4 hours, with 2 hours non-billable.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shift, 7 p.m. 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float to Mother-Baby (MB) units and Pediatrics; may also float to Elmhurst for special care nursery assignments.
