Nursing Assistant

Patient Care Aide

Performs basic patient care under supervision of the Registered Nurse and maintains the patient care and unit environment consistent with the policies, procedures and practices of the Nursing Division and United Health Services. Promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Emergency Department, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Primary Work Shift: Night

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32

Compensation Range: $18.56 - $26.92 per hour, depending on experience

Sign-on Incentive: Candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completed a Nurse's Aide program
• Previous hospital or health care experience

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
